Dr. William M. Hudson, Jr was born in South Carolina and received his undergraduate degree, with High Honor, from Clemson University. He received his medical degree from the Medical University of South Carolina, where he was inducted into Phi Kappa Phi.
He completed his internship, residency and Cardiology Fellowship at the Medical University of South Carolina. Following this, he then completed an additional fellowship in Cardiac Electrophysiology Westminster Hospital in London, England, becoming an Honorary Research Registrar in Electrophysiology and Pacemaker Surgery.
Dr. Hudson is certified by the National Board of Medical Examiners, South Carolina State Board of Medical Examiner and Georgia State Board of Medical Examiners.
Dr. Hudson is board certified in both internal medicine and cardiovascular diseases. He is a fellow of the American College of Cardiology. He is certified in both Nuclear Cardiology and Echocardiography.
He has served as the Chief of Cardiology and Director of Nuclear Cardiology for Atlanta area hospitals.
